Executive Functioning
Executive functioning is the set of mental skills that help children plan, organize, manage time, and regulate their emotions. When these skills are underdeveloped, students can struggle to get started, stay on task, or follow through. I help children build these internal tools in a way that sticks — and address the social-emotional patterns that so often go hand in hand.

Specialized, evidence-based support for dyslexia, dysgraphia, and related learning challenges.
Learning Differences
I collaborate with families, schools, and other specialists to develop research-backed intervention methods to address underlying issues that may impede learning. I offer support and guidance; from interpreting reports and assessments and synthesizing multiple pieces of information to prepare a targeted action plan, I am an advocate for individuals with disabilities, learning differences, and/or are neurodivergent.
- Dyslexia: systematic Orton-Gillingham instruction targeting phonological awareness, decoding, and fluency
- Dysgraphia: Learning Without Tears (LWT) handwriting program, coordinated with occupational therapy when appropriate
- Written expression: KU Strategic Instruction Model (SIM) for planning, organizing, and producing written work
- Understanding personal learning strengths and differences

Parent Consultations
I offer consultations for parents who want to better understand their child's learning profile, review evaluation results, navigate school accommodations, or simply talk through concerns. You don't need to figure this out alone.

We start with a 20-minute call to talk about your child, your concerns, and whether we're a good fit. No pressure, no commitment.
Initial evaluation
I conduct a thorough intake to understand your child's learning history, strengths, and challenges before we begin any sessions.
Tailored plan
I design a personalized session plan based on your child's unique profile — goals, methods, frequency, and how we'll measure progress.
Ongoing sessions
We meet regularly for structured, evidence-based sessions. I keep you updated on progress and adjust the plan as your child grows.
